Our friendly accounts team is currently seeking an AR experienced individual with a mature outlook to fill the position of Accounts Receivable Officer on a fulltime basis.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Process and update customer direct debit information.
- Receipt payments and accurately allocate high volumes of transactions.
- Process credit notes, resolve account or payment allocation issues.
- Manage Accounts Receivable inbox.
- Assist with daily bank reconciliations processing and month-end procedures.
- Maintain open communication with clients and provide prompt responses regarding queries.
- Maintain accounting databases, spreadsheets and credit collection platforms.
- Work collaboratively with other business units and team members to ensure the best possible outcome for customers.
- Other adhoc tasks as directed.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, particularly involving account reconciliations and credit control (desired).
- Minimum 2 years experience with MYOB Advanced (other accounting software experience considered)
- Excellent computer literacy – Microsoft Office Suite and ticketing systems
- High level of data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidence in collection of outstanding debts using phone/emails.
- Ability to negotiate with clients and offer workable suggestions.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Desirable:
- Online Payment system platform experience.
- Automated Collection Software experience.
- Ticketing system experience, eg: HubSpot
