About the role
You will be joining an established and expanding team with the objective of undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments. This role will suit an applicant with demonstrated, successful strategic, Risk Management skills and/or water treatment experience.
- Identify and pursue opportunities aligned with our strategic markets to grow the business in Queensland
- Achieve targets utilising your developed industry and technical knowledge together with the support of available resources within HydroChem and our technical partners
- Manage and retain existing contracts with excellent service and account management
- Meet KPIs in areas such as health and safety, customer satisfaction, operational excellence and growth
- Resolve critical plant issues as they occur
- Participate in industry association meetings, seminars, etc
The Opportunity
- Undertake risk assessments to assess the Legionella risks associated with water hygiene in water distribution systems, cooling towers as well as the broader industry as required.
- Provide Risk Management support across, covering a range of duties from initial contact to delivery of final report.
- Document risk assessments and recommendations based on a Risk Management methodology.
- Liaise with engineering managers, facility managers and infection control professionals.
- Identify opportunities to expand the business and actively develop and close opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
- Develop strong customer relationships that establish HydroChem as a leading water treatment provider.
You
- You have a proven experience with a background in Risk Management and/or water treatment experience.
- Qualified with practical work experience in the analytical chemistry and/or microbiological sectors are encouraged to apply.
- You have the ability to build relationships.
- You're familiarity with the design and operation of water distribution systems.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating strong team spirit and the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
- You're computer literacy including competency with computer packages including as a minimum, Word and Excel.
- You have a proactive approach, strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and work autonomously.
