Am I suited to being an Activity & Engagement Co-ordinator with APM’s South Melbourne office?
We welcome those from various backgrounds. You may have previous experience in Community, Employment or Careers Services. Or perhaps as an Administration Manager or a Receptionist or any other role that’s service driven and planning focused. You will be a natural networker who is looking to work in a collaborative environment where you can make an impact, and genuinely help people on their path to employment.
The role:
You will be working within the national Activity & Engagement team. You will be providing guidance and support around work experience, industry qualifications, training, and other upskilling activities to assist participants to enter the workforce.
You will be promoting these activities to our internal Employment Consultants and Business Managers. You will help them understand the services available and promote personal growth for our participants, that will ultimately support them in finding a suitable job.
Build relationships with internal Employment Consultants, gain an understanding of their participant skills gaps and challenges
Help locate and develop activities, education and training options by building relationships with employers, external training centres & community bodies
Subject matter expert on local skill building activities across the region, working closely with our business leaders to provide support & guidance
Working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Ensure variety and quality activities available to our participants
Support Business Managers and Employment Consultants to support all participants requiring assistance.
To be considered, you will have...
Eligibility to work in Australia
A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
Willing to complete a Criminal History Check
Able to pass a Working with Children Check
