AddressCUC Mallee is hiring a Student Services and Engagement Coordinator!
This position has a 12-month fixed term, with the potential to extend.
This position is offered at a total of up to 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE), accommodating a flexible staffing arrangement for the right candidate/s. As such, we are open to filling this role either through one full-time employee or multiple part-time employees, depending on the strengths and availability of the right candidate/s. About Us
Country Universities Centre Mallee is a not-for-profit community driven organisation, which is jointly funded by the Commonwealth Government under the Regional University Study Hubs program. The Centre provides a new opportunity to make higher education more accessible for students of all ages in the Mallee region. CUC Mallee is part of an affiliated network of the Country Universities Centre. Our students have free access to high-speed Internet, modern technology, and general academic support all delivered locally at CUC Mallee. Students will also have the opportunity to build a network of like-minded fellow students and can take advantage of being part of a nation-wide learning community.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual(s) to:
- provide a comprehensive range of programs across the student life cycle including academic, social and wellbeing support for current students.
- provide widening participation activities for school age students to promote young people’s post-secondary aspirations
- increase local participation in higher education by working with local education, community, industry and business groups.
Ideally you will have experience working in rural and regional communities along with tertiary qualifications and experience in education, community development, or youth.
As part of this role you may be required to work out of hours including after hours and weekends.
