Essence of Health + Fertility seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Acupuncturist to join our busy Natural Health Clinic located in Seacliff. 

We offer a wide range of natural health services including Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Naturopathy, Nutrition, and Massage.

The clinic's director is an Acupuncturist and Naturopath and is very reputable for her success and support for services such as IVF support, natural fertility, pregnancy care, and hormone balancing. This opportunity is suitable for an acupuncturist looking to take on adults for general health services and musculoskeletal support in addition to natural fertility and IVF support.

The role is a great opportunity for a highly motivated practitioner who has a positive, warm, and friendly manner. The practitioner must possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build good rapport with patients and staff.  

Acupuncturist position:

We require a fully qualified Acupuncturist who can begin seeing patients initially on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm with the potential to increase to other days/shifts.  The applicant must have flexibility and availability to work occasional Saturdays by appointment for IVF transfer appointments and availability to cover our other acupuncturists' sick leave or annual leave if it arises between Monday - Friday. 

Applicants must be prepared to spend time within our clinic to grow their patient base on the shifts required, by getting to know the team, the clients, and the practices.
 

Operating hours:

Monday         9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Tuesday        8:00 am - 5:00 pm  

Wednesday   9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Thursday       8:00 am - 5:00 pm 

Friday            9:00 am - 3:00 pm  

Saturday: By appointment for IVF transfers only.

We require the applicant to have the flexibility to start at 9:00 am when covering other practitioners' leave.

The ideal candidate for this position would have:

• The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment 
• Existing experience in practice 
• Flexibility to cover sick, and holiday shifts
• Excellent communication skills and empathy and compassion towards others
• Current diplomas, current association membership, professional indemnity insurance, and ABN. 
• Experience with working with patients, ideally in practice already. 

Remuneration Package:

We are essentially looking at a contractor arrangement, on a percentage rate agreement. The percentage rate includes 2 acupuncture rooms, enabling the contractor access to see 2 patients per hour, maximizing income. 

Acupuncture supplies and equipment, as well as general clinic supplies, are all included in the percentage rate, as well as the room availability and reception staff to receipt and make bookings. 

Marketing on our clinic website, Facebook, and Instagram are included.
