Qualifications & experience
- Ability to think independently with strong problem solving skills and to seek clarification so as to understand each task from start to finish.
- Ability to be an organizer and complete tasks ensuring that all attention to detail is considered.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Calendar, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams
- Confident and exceptional verbal and written communication skills especially in providing the cover letter for this application
- A minimum of 24 months in a similar Administration role
- A positive attitude and pro-active solution driven approach to work
- The ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Able to undertake duties with utmost discretion and confidentiality
- High level of attention to detail will make you a great success in this role.
- Previous Building industry experience an advantage.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Support the Management Team with a variety of Administrative and day to day duties of keeping the office orgainised clean and tidy.
- Optimize and write up office procedures for the various tasks covering architects, subcontractors and procurement duties.
- Create and update records, ensuring accuracy and validity of information, that are easily and quickly retrievable
- Assist in the purchasing of goods and services for the business with the ability to obtain competitive quotes.
- General office duties including scanning and file management
- Assist the Director with managing schedules, juggling multiple tasks and adapt to ever changing scenarios.
- Other ad hoc duties as required to support others in their roles.
