The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the People & Culture Directorate as the Administration Manager on a 6-month contract, working in a full-time capacity (with flexibility to work 0.8FTE).

The Administration Manager is responsible for the provision of quality generalist HR administration and advisory services and HR project and policy support functions, including the provision of advice to managers and employees on a broad range of operational HR issues including, but not limited to, recruitment and selection, classification management, performance review and development, HR delegations and compliance, HR processes, vacancy management, and CHRIS21 administration and training support.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage, foster collaboration and manage staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor communications to the needs of customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to research and undertake investigations and projects; analyse and summarise information and prepare reports with recommendations on a range of HR issues.
  • Experience in providing HR advisory services to managers and employees on a range of general Human Resource matters.
