About the position
The position of Admin Support Officer, known internally as the Curriculum and Studies Office Administration Support, is a newly created position to support the delivery of excellence in administrative and procedural tasks related to curriculum and operations in the Senior School. They will be a collaborative team member with an eye for detail and the desire to ensure that the processes of a large and complex learning organisation run smoothly.
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support for the Curriculum Administrator and completing tasks related to the following as per their direction; including updating and maintaining student entries, enrolments and organisation of examinations.
- Providing administrative support to the IB Coordinator as requested.
- Other administrative duties as directed by the Curriculum Administrator and/or Deputy Head of Senior School - Academic.
- Staff the Senior School reception in the absence of the Senior School Administrator fulfilling duties including answering the phone and responding to student and staff enquiries, monitoring student sign in/sign out and assisting the Head of Senior School in the case of an emergency evacuation or lockdown.
- Work with and assist the Senior School Administrator with Parent Teacher Interviews.
- General filing and other administrative duties as directed by the Senior School Administrator.
Selection Criteria:
- Advanced administrative experience.
- Experienced in database use.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Experience working in the education industry/IBIS/NESA administrative requirements.
- Experience with Engage or similar education administration systems.
- Ability to manage student data across a range of platforms in parallel.
