JMB Environmental Consulting Pty Ltd is a deliberate, strategic environmental consultancy providing risk management and laboratory services throughout NSW. Our purpose is to improve health and well-being within the workplace and at home, and we are looking for new team member to be part of our journey.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry Level Admin Support Officer. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office in Alexandria. Working hours are at the office Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (willing to discuss).
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the team, including handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, filing, and data entry.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Make calls to ensure invoices are paid on time, and follow up overdue payments consistently.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for team members.
- Coordinate and arrange meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements as required.
- Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete special projects and assignments.
- Manage supplier accreditation documentation that expires annually.
- Assist with fleet vehicle maintenance.
- Maintaining office cleanliness and supplies
Requirements:
- Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident and professional telephone manner.
- Positive and upbeat attitude, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google suites.
- Previous experience in an administrative role is a plus, but not required.
