We are rapidly expanding in the Victorian market and are looking for an Administration Assistant to support our growth strategy.
You will work closely with our Warehouse Manager to offer day to day administration support.
The Role
Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Update truck run management screen with information from dispatch
- Assist with truck run management if required
- Ensure blue bag is taken over to goods inwards with required documents
- Book out daily runs
- Process returned PODs
- Update stock movements
- GIR in stock for goods inwards
- Process labels for deliveries of New Homes jobs
- Check off orders against invoice
- Liaise with internals and truck drivers re. relevant daily information in urgent manner
- Safety & OH&S procedures are strictly adhered to in line with Harvey Norman standards
- Maintain high level of housekeeping for Warehouse location.
- Distribute relevant memos and ensure they are read, understood and actioned
- Ensure that you are familiar with the computer systems.
- A clean and tidy environment is to be kept around your workplace at all times.
- Be compliant to the Occupational Health & Safety Standards regulations.
- Exposure and conceptual understanding of supplier agreements and pricing
- Team orientated, with strong relationship and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel
