- Offering a salary range from $70,694 - $76,857 + superannuation (Clerk Grade 1/2)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a range of administrative support services including accurate filing, mail management, e-document processing, maintaining registers, managing fleet services, procurement, meeting support, and data entry.
- Serve as the frontline point of contact for customers and visitors, handling reception duties, responding to inquiries, and ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.
- Manage financial transactions such as processing invoices, revenue collection, and journal entries in accordance with departmental policies.
- Assist and lead onsite work experience activities to support and mentor new staff while ensuring workplace safety.
- Collect and compile information to prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence, facilitating information flow and decision-making processes within the site.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring compliance with administrative systems and processes for accessibility and accuracy.
Key Challenges:
Delivering high-quality customer service consistently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a research or government setting.
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office suite).
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume work environment with tight timeframes.
