An opportunity has arisen to join a small team that look after the day to day running of a busy Barrister's Chambers in the Sydney CBD. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Receptionist to be the face and voice of the floor.
Ideally we are looking for a candidate who can take on the role full time, the role could suit someone who might be studying part time. However, we would be open to 2 candidates taking on the role in a job sharing capacity.
The role is varied and includes but is not limited to:
- Greeting and assisting visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls and take messages efficiently.
- Manange incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Assisting the clerk with the day to day administration of chambers, including accounts and taking diary enquiries.
- Organising couriers & functions.
- Delegation of administrative tasks to junior assistants.
Chambers prides itself on having a friendly environment to work in. You will preferably have some experience in a similar sort of role or customer service setting, this is not a requirement. You will be reliable and responsible, punctual with good written and verbal skills and able to time manage. You should be familiar with Microsoft products.
