This is an exciting opportunity on a 12-month traineeship contract to provide entry level administrative support to the People and Capability Section (PCS) at ARC. PCS delivers a range of corporate functions for the agency including strategic and operational human resource management, physical security, property and facilities management and travel.
The position is full-time (38hrs/wk), Monday – Friday. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with sound collaboration, problem solving and communication skills. You should have a can-do attitude and be willing to jump into tasks.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide a range of administrative support, including inbox management, stakeholder engagement and data entry for PCS to assist with the delivery of business objectives.
• Support the day-to-day delivery of projects through provision of administrative activities including but not limited to; research, document and record control and management, stakeholder support, and presentations.
• Support the coordination of travel bookings within the agency in accordance with whole of government policy.
• Support procurement and financial management, including raising purchase orders, payment of invoices, credit card reconciliations in alignment with the legislative frameworks and agency policies.
• Provide effective support in the preparation of cyclical and other business reporting requirements (e.g. KPI’s, monthly and quarterly reports).

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Permanent right to work in Australia
• Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to work in a sensitive environment with competing and changing priorities.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures, whilst displaying problem-solving skills and lateral thinking to identify business improvement opportunities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including being able to communicate in an articulate manner with all stakeholders.
• Actively build and sustain working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to undertake a National Police Check prior to commencement.

SALARY
As the successful candidate, you will receive:
$26,000 – $40,000 plus 11% Superannuation
- National Training Wage Award
- Fully Funded Qualification
