Form of workDue to an internal move, Tony's Flowers, one of SA's leading providers of locally grown and imported flowers, have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join the team at Pooraka.
The Role
Working Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, as our Administration Assistant, you will support the smooth running of the Pooraka Production team, working closely with our Production Administration Manager.
As our new admin guru you will be involved in typical office administration duties, including:
- Answering and directing of incoming calls,
- Performing general administrative accounting related functions, reconciling weekly / monthly statements and authorising invoices as required,
- The creation and printing of product barcodes and labels ready for production,
- Booking freight providers for customer deliveries,
- Utilising Excel to enter, upload and export sales data,
- Creation of delivery documentation for customers and freight providers,
- Supporting continuous improvement at the site by monitoring and escalating customer / store feedback.
About You
Previous experience in a similar Administration role is an advantage, not essential. In addition, as the successful candidate you will demonstrate:
- Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills,
- A positive attitude and an eye for detail, coupled with a willingness to take on new task,
- Ability to build strong working relationships with team members and foster a positive team environment,
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and experience in using other Microsoft office product,
- Experience in NiceLabel and/or the ability to quickly adapt to new computer software.
