You will provide administration support to the Superannuation Division assisting the teams to contribute to the achievement of the program of work and facilitate the delivery of business operations. Participate and manage of specific projects to support and contribute to improvement initiatives.
The team
The Superannuation Division supports APRA's core function by undertaking prudential supervision and risk assessment activities in order to achieve the government and APRA's objective of providing a prudentially sound financial system. The Division's strategic focus is to improve outcomes for superannuation members.
Key responsibilities
- Manage, prepare and review incoming correspondence, including assisting with prioritisation and sign-offs;
- Provide support with corporate expenses and procurement processes;
- Provide backup support for managing diary appointments, including proactively scheduling, organising and prioritising meetings;
- Liaise with peers across APRA in the coordination of administrative activities;
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships;
- Provide administrative assistance across the division; and
- Maintaining an understanding of APRA wide activities, policies, procedures; and systems and their relationship with the business unit.

- Experience providing administrative support and services to senior leaders;
- High integrity including ability to manage confidential and sensitive information;
- Significant communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills for liaising, addressing enquiries and developing relationships with all levels of management and employees;
- High-level organisational, time management, problem solving, and decision-making skills;
- Interpersonal and negotiation skills, addressing enquiries and developing; and maintaining relationships with both internal and external parties at all levels of seniority; and
- Proactive approach in obtaining information to support decision making and service delivery.
