Administration Officer

Seven West Media is the leading listed national multi-platform media business based in Australia. We comprise Channel Seven, The West Australian, The Sunday Times and associated Perth metro and WA regional newspapers.

An exciting opportunity exists to join our iconic news brand, The West Australian, in the role of Administration Officer within our high-performance Customer Engagement team. In this role your organisational, administrative and data handling skills will be put to use for a variety of regular and ad hoc tasks.

This is a full time, fixed term 12-month contract, covering a period of parental leave.

About the Role

• Processing and management of weekly returns process and reporting
• Resolving invoicing and returns queries
• Overseeing resolution of supply shortages in a timely manner
• Receipt and processing of customer book orders
• Responding to customer (internal and external) email and phone enquiries and actioning requests accordingly within the Circulation system
• Troubleshooting system issues and working to resolve
• Ensuring high quality of data entry and information management
• Contributing to weekly team meetings to help build our positive team culture

About You

• Strong administrative skills, with at least 3 years’ experience in an administrative or customer support role
• Process driven, strong time management, exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Proficiency with MS Office
• A proactive approach, a positive outlook with a can-do attitude
