The Finance and Administration Officer will be responsible for assisting the Manager Corporate Services in the financial and Administration processes in the school. The successful applicant will coordinate financial and Administration tasks and undertake financial planning, monitoring, research, and analysis to meet the outcomes of the school’s business plan.The successful applicant will assist in diverse daily operations, including coordinating financial administration tasks - these include the processing of local and international payments, invoicing, cash management and reconciliations. They will also provide financial advice to staff. This will include the administration and operation of school databases and management information systems, as well as assist the Manager Corporate Services in maintaining and managing the physical assets of the school.The successful applicant will ideally possess knowledge of a variety of computer systems; are highly organised to meet stringent reporting deadlines; and possess experience working in a busy administrative environment. Experience with RM Finance, and MS Office producing documents, excel spread sheets and data bases would be highly regarded. The successful applicant will ideally have the ability to juggle competing priorities in a complex school environment in order to meet school priorities and needs.Shorehaven Primary School is very proud of the strong community culture that we have established in such a short space of time since opening in 2022. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. - Sound financial management knowledge, skills and experience and the ability to provide input to budget preparation and marketing plans.
- Well-developed administrative and organisational skills and experience in the operation of financial and business management information systems.
- Sound written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team environment and develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Research, conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills and experience in data analysis and reporting.
