About the Opportunity
The QTU is seeking a highly organised Administration Officer to join our team. You will commence full-time for a fixed-term and then continue as permanent part-time working 3 days a week, Wednesday to Friday. This will begin as a stand-alone role with support provided virtually by other Administration Officers throughout regional Queensland, before becoming a job share position from 5 March 2025.
Your tasks will include:
- Being the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including members and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Providing a range of administration support including diary management, reception, word processing, travel, marketing, and finance.
- Coordinating meetings, events, school visits and workshops.
- Updating and running reports from CRM (training provided).
About You
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Ability to work independently and solo in a small office environment.
- Experience in providing broad administration support at a senior level.
- Flexible thinking to solve problems and multitask.
- High level of verbal and written communication.
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Resilience and tact to work with sensitive/confidential information.
- Positive and ‘can do’ attitude.
