This position will sit within the Law Claims unit of the Law Society which is responsible for the administration of the Professional Indemnity Insurance Scheme for legal practitioners in South Australia. Law Claims also provides Risk Management education and other programs to assist practitioners to implement risk management strategies. The position may also be required to provide administrative support to other areas of the Law Society from time to time.
This position offers flexibility around hours, workdays and times, to be agreed with the selected applicant.
The position requires:-
- Experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive matters;
- Efficiency in the use of MS Office, Outlook and other software and databases;
- Ability to present edited and well-formatted documents;
- High quality written and oral expression and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent, accurate keyboard skills (approximately 60 wpm);
- Accurate proof-reading, grammatical and spelling skills;
- Ability to work within tight timelines;
- An appreciation of filing systems; and
- Ability to conduct basic research and prepare summaries.
