About the Hub

About the Role:
The FDV Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the Armadale FDV HUB. They will lead a culturally safe team and integrated multi-disciplined service from the Hub and through outreach activities providing support to people, particularly women and children who are experiencing family violence. The role also oversees services for those using family violence (perpetrator service) which includes the men’s healing stream.
The key responsibilities will include coordinating and supervising the delivery of the Service, overseeing the daily operations and coordination of activities. The role will ensure comprehensive, client-centred support, assistance and advocacy is being delivered to people experiencing the effects of family violence whilst developing and maintaining effective collaborative working relationships with other staff, agencies and service providers, networks, and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage a multi-agency team.
- Coordinate and supervise day to day service delivery including and Hub and outreach activities.
- Provide leadership and support to staff.
- Undertake effective staff performance management and staff development.
- Actively participate in professional development and supervision.
- Ensure comprehensive, person-centred support, assistance and advocacy is being delivered for people experiencing the effects of family violence.

To be successful in this role you will have Human Services qualification and have the following essential criteria:
- Demonstrated skills in team management.
- Demonstrated skills in cultural competency.
- Demonstrated skills in developing community networks.
- Knowledge and/or experience in the FDV field.
- National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months)
- Working with Children Check and
- Current unrestricted WA Driver’s licence
