As an Assistant Financial Controller, you will be reporting to the Regional Controller APAC, assist in leading the overall commercial, financial, and legal aspects of the division. This will include performance management.
As an Assistant Financial Controller, you will be working with the shared services finance function, ensure all accounting and external reporting requirements of the division are met.
Your Responsibilities, Impact & Contribution
- Assist to develop strategies and the tactics for business growth and continuous improvement related to the efficiency and financial management of the division, including contract management and pricing of solutions.
- Working with both internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to the Group Accounting, Finance & Legal, Sales and Solutions, Operations teams across the breadth of the division.
- Manage the budgets and forecasts for the division and ensure that accurate monthly management accounts are prepared for the AGS Leadership Team, together with high quality board packs.
- Involved in commercial management, i.e. Pricing and contracts.
- Work closely with other internal teams throughout Australia, Asia and Europe on global RFP deals as needed.
- Assist and implement in below mentioned key areas of focus:
- Strategic business partner
- Strategic financial planning & management
- Operational financial, legal and commercial planning & management
- Business performance reporting and analytics
- Commercial contracts & pricing
- Commercial risk management
- People management of the Finance & Operations team.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in managing business Finance.
- A sound knowledge of the financial activities, policies, and processes of a substantial corporate company.
- A proven understanding of accounting, financial modelling, risk management and business systems.
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting (at a minimum).
- Professional Accountancy Qualification CA Inter / CPA / CMA / ICFAI.
- Recruitment, Staffing, Consulting, Outsourcing, Accounting industry or related experience preferred but not mandatory.
