About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administration Support professional to join our team at Wodonga TAFE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to our defence partners, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
The Unit Administration Officer provides effective and efficient administrative support to staff, learners, and commanders of Defence. This position provides specialist support, handling enquiries and undertaking timely and accurate administration processes. The position will assist Defence and Wodonga Institute of TAFE (WIOT) to ensure comprehensive processes are applied in accordance with Defence policy and procedures for administration.
The position operates under the supervision of the Team Leader Defence Support Services and directed Defence personnel within the assigned unit.
Selected Duties:
- The incumbent will perform work assignments within timelines as requested or set out by WIOT procedures and Defence policies and expectations.
- The incumbent will apply their knowledge to a various range of different tasks within the nature of the work and in line with existing policies and processes.
- The incumbent may be required to provide training and instruction to new and current colleagues.
- The incumbent is expected to manage their own time, set priorities, plan, and organise their own work with clear communication to their Team Leader.
- The incumbent will be prepared to utilise their transferrable skills in other business Units if required to do so.
About You
Skills & Experience
- Certificate III in Business
- 3 years’ experience in administration with demonstrated skills and/or experience in providing administration support services.
- Maintenance of an AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance
