SalaryThe Division of Surgery are looking for an Administration Officer - Outpatients to join their team to respond to general customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information and assistance to clients and staff to facilitate service delivery within the Hospital setting.

About the Role
• Ensure prospective patients have been placed on a respective waiting list, booked within the time frame indicated and maintain this list by ensuring accurate and complete additions, amendments, ongoing verification and appropriate delegations.
• Respond to general customer inquiries over the phone, email and in person and assist staff and clients in the work unit as requested.
• Register patient data onto relevant electronic databases and ensure patient data is updated in a timely manner.
• Organise and coordinate patients appointment activities, including the arrival of patients, booking appointments, management of cancellation/rescheduling of clinics, management of clinic waiting lists and coordinating appointments with other services. Ensuring transportation and follow up appointments are arranged.
