About the role:
We are currently seeking a part-time Administration Officer to join our team in Emerald. Our Administration Officer will provide a range of general administration and reception duties to support service delivery and centre management.
What will a typical day look like?
- Contribute to organisational administrative processes, systems, and technology in an efficient and effective manner to support service delivery and centre management.
- Answer telephone and in-person enquiries.
- Engage with tenants, participants, government departments, members of the public and other stakeholders in relation to enquiries and make appropriate referrals.
- Attend to Reception duties.
- Arrange mail and courier functions.
- Perform a range of general administrative support duties.
- Provide meeting support.
- Assist with monitoring, purchase, and maintenance of printing and stationery supplies.
- Assist to facilitate the utilisation of fleet vehicles, inclusive of cleaning, services, and repairs.
- Assist with monitoring and organising general office/ facilities maintenance.
- Maintain records including petty cash, postage, correspondence, meeting minutes, spreadsheets, data collection and maintain filing and archiving.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Full COVID-19 Vaccination
- Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
- Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
- Certificate III in business/office administration (or related discipline) and experience in a similar position; or
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience and willingness to achieve a Certificate III in the recommended time from enrolment.
