Job Description
The Optimisation Producer within 9Digital will focus on delivering Nine’s content schedule on YouTube and building optimisation techniques to increase the reach further, AU watch time and revenue opportunities.
Day to day you will:
- Identify and capture short form breaking news videos in a timely and professional manner
- Write clear, accurate copy for video descriptions
- Respond to breaking news and developing events
- Ensure content is posted in a timely manner and meets legal and ethical guidelines
- Establish and maintain good working relationships across Nine's News & Current Affairs teams.
- Edit videos to a high standard using Premiere Pro and AVID
- Troubleshoot technical issues and deal successfully with changing priorities
- Edit photos and images using Photoshop
- Adhere to fair dealing copyright and intellectual property guidelines
Please note, this position will include rostered work including some weekends.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in digital video
- Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software would be advantageous
- Experience encoding and publishing videos for online and social platforms
- Experience working in a breaking news environment would be advantageous
