The Aboriginal Family Clinic is a vital healthcare service dedicated to providing comprehensive and culturally sensitive services to the community. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a clinic Administration Officer/Receptionist.
About the Role:
As the Administration Officer/Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing essential administrative and reception support to ensure the smooth operation of the Aboriginal Family Clinic. Key duties include:
- Providing a client-focused receptionist service, ensuring a culturally safe and client-centred environment for all clinic visitors.
- Coordinating patient and transport bookings, demonstrating efficiency and accuracy in managing appointments.
- Responding to enquiries from clients, other agencies, and the general public, offering clear and concise information with a friendly demeanour.
- Providing general administrative support to the Aboriginal Family Clinic team, contributing to the overall efficiency of the clinic.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
- Understanding of and commitment to providing culturally safe services to Aboriginal communities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour.
This is an Identified Aboriginal Health Role.
