About the role
As an Administration Officer off the Central Adelaide Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT), you will provide specialised administration support to the senior manager, assessors and Clinical Flow Coordinators (CFC) who make up Central Adelaide ACAT.
The Administration Officer provides administrative support to ensure the efficient management of comprehensive assessment referrals, Support Plan Reviews (SPR), and phone and email-based enquiries from internal and external stakeholders to assist clients, carers, family members and referrers navigating the My Aged Care system. The Administration Officer is responsible for providing up-to-date information on aged care pathways, referral processes and current approval status.
The Administration Officer requires high-level computer skills and technical proficiency in the My Aged Care system, National Screening and Assessment Form (NSAF)/Integrated Assessment Tool (IAT), and Microsoft Office suite. The officer will assist with end-of-month reporting and be proficient in minute-taking and developing minutes, agendas, and calendars.
The Administration Officer provides high-level customer service and a high level of attention to detail to ensure high-quality data entry. The Administration Officer works within the Aged Care Assessment Programme (ACAP) guidelines, Aged Care Act 1997 and is able to meet agreed benchmarks and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which align with programme funding.
