In this role, you’ll work as a part of the Engineering and Maintenace team that keeps Sydney moving by providing design, engineering, and assurance integrity services to Sydney Trains and the TfNSW cluster. This role will see you be an active member of a team that promotes responsibility for working in an environment that includes multi-skilling, self management, team support and contributing towards continuous improvement. This is a well-rounded role with lots of moving parts that will ensure that there is never a dull moment.
You will :
- Undertake a range of administrative duties to ensure the effective operation of the business unit including diary management, copying, distributing and filing documents
- Organising and coordinating meetings, events and new starters requirements.
- Prepare reports, draft letters and documents, take and prepare meeting minutes and agendas, including presentations and workshop materials.
- Assist in providing a wide range of administrative support services including research, collection, entry and compilation of data and information
- Execute safety responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities consistent with Sydney Trains safety management system requirements

- Have previous demonstrated experience working in an administration or clerical function in a fast paced environment ideally within a public sector organisation.
- Are a strong independent worker who also enjoys collaborating with the wider team where required. You are looking to join a team where you can use your experience to help have an impact.
- Will be sharp and confident in your delivery whilst feeling supported within a collaborative team environment, with minimal supervision
- Organised, adaptable and possess the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
- Are proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office applications, in preparing correspondence and reports
- Can multi-task, juggle competing priorities and engage with a range of stakeholders
- Possess strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and complete tasks within allocated timeframes
