Administration Support Officer
Location: West Perth
Part-time (up to 30 hours p/w), 12 months with high likelihood of extension

For more than 10 years, these services have supported Aboriginal people to achieve sustainable and independent futures by empowering local and regional decision making. The Administration Support Officer works across DSS programs providing administrative and logistics support to staff implementing programs in community, and in Perth in the newly purpose built ‘Desert Hub’. DSS programs are dynamic and adaptive to change. Supporting field staff to implement programs with Traditional Owners is crucial to the DSS mission. This vital role sits at the heart of our responsive service delivery. The dynamic, rewarding role requires strong time management, interpersonal and communication, and IT skills.

To be considered for this position, you will have:
• a demonstrated capacity to carry out administration tasks across a range of platforms,
• a proven capacity to undertake administration tasks in a well-organised manner, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure,
• excellent inter-personal, communication and problem-solving skills in a cross-cultural context,
• financial literacy skills and an understanding of MYOB (preferably),
• the ability to adapt quickly to shifting program needs,
• competence in the use of Microsoft Office applications (including Teams),
• a team-oriented attitude, and
• be willing to work and have fun in a busy, time pressured environment.
