About the role

Seeking a professional Business Support Officer to provide support and be the front-of house and key reception personnel to our business. To be successful in this role you will need to be a highly motivated team player with a proactive approach to your work.  You will thrive in a fast paced, demanding and varied work environment.  You will possess a willingness to learn and ask questions where need be. Essentials to this role are a strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously. We will provide in-house training to the successful candidate, but the foundations of previous administrative experience would be desirable. 

Responsibilities

Within this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for;

  • General Front of House Reception Duties – liaising with clientele, in-coming calls, mail collection, sample receive and dispatch
  • Report Writing / Data Entry
  • Providing administrative support to the Management team and following their lead and instructions
  • Coordination of travel, accommodation and expenses
  • Creation of Purchase Orders and Maintaining Stock Levels  
  • Compiling sales data and completing monthly invoicing, ensuring KPI’s are met 
  • Exemplary time management and organizational skills including the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and respond to changing requirements quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders,
  • Strong written communication skills with a high attention to detail in spelling and grammar

Selection criteria

To be successful in this role the following competencies are essential:

  • A high level of technological aptitude and savviness
  • Advanced MS Office Skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Good time management skills
  • Accurate keyboard skills and proven accuracy and speed
  • Excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills
  • Confident Phone Mannerisms and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high attention to detail
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
  • Adaptability to learn new processes and procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills and self-motivation
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Sensitivity to deal with and maintain confidential information
  • The candidate must be able to provide evidence of their right to work in Australia
  • Be able to work in a team environment
