Job Description:
Edge Rail is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Administration Trainee.
This position will provide essential support to the Administrator, acting as the first point of contact for our business and assisting with various administrative tasks. This role presents an excellent opportunity for growth and development in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Reception Duties
- Greeting Visitors
- Answering & Directing Phone calls
- Monitor and update Client & Supplier documentation, proactively following up on any missing items.
- Data entry including filing, scanning & managing record-keeping systems, including Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft lists, SharePoint, and Assignar.
- Regularly maintain and update lists and registers, ensuring information accuracy.
- Assist with purchase order requests other account related tasks.
2. Travel & Logistics:
- Assist in managing the travel process, including flight and accommodation bookings for staff traveling for projects.
- Update relevant lists to ensure accurate data is recorded for annual reporting requirements.
- Engage in effective communication with vendors, developing rapport.
- Update travel itinerary for each booking and communicate with assigned staff.
3. Communication:
- Monitor relevant inboxes and ensure prompt, accurate responses.
- Assist and communicate with staff for any administration or company inquiries.
- Communicate with stakeholders, providing relevant requested information.
4. Stock Maintenance:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of relevant stationery, uniforms, and other stock items necessary for the smooth operation of the administrative department.
- Coordinate the replenishment of stock items as needed, assisting the administrator in placing orders with suppliers and tracking deliveries to ensure timely restocking.
- Keep accurate records of stock levels, purchases, and usage. Regularly update the stock database to reflect current inventory levels.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school or equivalent qualification required.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite an advantage but not required
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
