About the Role
They are currently seeking an experienced Administration & Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Cessnock. This is an estimated 3month temporary assignment, with a strong potential to extend. You will be required to work 7am-3pm Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Manager, you will be required to provide a wide range of administrative and warehouse support to ensure the effective operations of the Security and Custody Office.
As a representative for Correctional facility, please note that this role includes interaction with offenders
Responsibilities
- Undertake warehousing duties
- Processing incoming and outgoing goods
- Picking and packing orders
- Delivery of goods into the centre, loading and unloading goods
- Maintain clean and tidy warehouse
- Comply with safety and OHS procedures
- Data entry, processing information into the system
- Deliver high level professional customer service
- Answering enquiries, providing accurate and timely responses
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members, when required
- Work within a fast paced high volume environment
- Undertake adhoc forklift duties, when required
About You
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional, resilient and a great work ethic
- Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency especially with MS Office suite
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- High attention to detail
Requirements
- Demonstrated Administration and Warehousing experience Previous experience working within a complex and sensitive environment
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Valid Forklift licence
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
