This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Position Profile:
We are seeking Administrative Assistants to provide comprehensive and confidential administrative and clerical support to the multi-disciplinary teams at Community CAMHS and Specialised CAMHS.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing reception services ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for patients, staff, and the public, and directing queries to appropriate personnel.
- Ensuring organisational needs are met in a timely manner in relation to the management of senior level correspondence, monitoring of asset maintenance, meeting scheduling and setup, directing payment of accounts, and other routine matters as directed.
- Developing and maintaining efficient filing and data collection systems and ensuring accurate and confidential data entry and reporting using Mental Health Information Systems.
- Actively contributing to a multi-disciplinary team to support safe, high-quality health care with a focus on continual improvement, efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability.
- Upholding the WA Health Code of Conduct; the CAHS Vision and Values; and CAHS commitment to protecting children and promoting their safety.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of administrative services.
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with ability to liaise effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake duties with minimal supervision and can work independently and effectively as a member of a team, within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively organise and prioritise activities to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated experience in in the use of personal computer software applications including proficiency with ‘Windows’ based word processing and database software.
- Previous administrative experience in a Health Care environment.
