Key Accountabilities:
- Environmental leadership experience on mining operation, confident and excellent communication skills
- Maintain compliance with regulatory bodies
- Communication with key stakeholders.
- Site environmental compliance, reporting and statutory investigations.
- Continue to improve EMS at site
- Mine rehab and closure planning
- Work within NSW regulatory guidelines
- Site environmental monitoring
- Permits and Feasibility studies
Must haves:
- Mining environmental leadership experience - 5 years+
- Environmental related qualifications
- An in-depth understanding of the NSW Mining legislation's
- Stakeholder management / engagement
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Team based approach
- Sound proficiency in the use of MS Suite (Outlook, Word & Excel)
