Job description:
Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of all Central Intake and Referral Service resources to optimise overall business processes and outcomes.
The role:
Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of all Central Intake and Referral Service resources to optimise overall business processes and outcomes.
Operate as the central point of contact for people to speak to someone about mental health issues and receive information and advice about mental health and alcohol and other drug use.
Recognise individuals in need of further information and/or support by assisting clinicians in conducting a needs assessment using the Initial Assessment and Referral Decisional Support Tool (IAR-DST), and determining appropriate care providers.
Assist those requiring more information or support by identifying appropriate services, and aiding clinicians to undertake an assessment of needs using the Initial Assessment and Referral Decisional Support Tool (IAR-DST).
Ensure sensitive and confidential handling of all contacts and that information is provided to the correct staff member in a timely manner.
Provides high level administrative support and undertake clerical duties as required by senior staff specific to the initial assessment and Referral function of the Central Intake and Referral Service.
