Key Accountabilities- Receive, respond to, and allocate customer enquiries, and requests for service.
- Coordinate and provide input to reports.
- Liaise with consultants, developers, and contractors to facilitate addressing enquiries and requests for service.
- Update relevant databases.
- Check data and enter in the asset management system.
- Assist the Assistant Directors with the planning of maintenance programs; carry out investigations of public enquiries; provide status reports; prepare briefing notes to Government; and prepare Ministerial responses.
- Assist with planning and development of Asset Management Plans and Operational Plans.
- Undertake other administrative duties as required for the Business Unit.
Key Requirements- Demonstrated capability to interpret and apply standard policies, procedures and regulations or other guideline material to specific situations.
- High level computing skills in the use of the Microsoft suite of applications, and experience in the use of databases for planning purposes including an asset management system.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, monitor workflow, solve problems, and meet deadlines to effectively contribute to a small team to apply customer service principles and practices.
- Sound liaison and written communication skills, and capacity to negotiate with internal staff and external stakeholders to set priorities and guide staff to adhere to established procedures.
- Coordination, research, and analytical skills with sound knowledge of government policies and processes.
