AV is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer (ASO) to provide effective and efficient administration and project support to the Metropolitan Area Managers and wider Metropolitan Management team. This is a permanent, part time position (two days per week) based at Mulgrave.
About the role
Reporting to the Regional Support Manager, this role assists the Metropolitan Area Managers and the wider Metropolitan Management team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Act as the first point of contact for Metropolitan region Area Managers by screening calls, answering routine enquiries, processing messages for follow up/action/referral
- Provide broad Administrative Support, including diary management, event and travel arrangements, meeting agendas and minutes, preparation of various draft correspondence and documents and written responses to correspondence
- Provide general Administrative Support to the Metropolitan region including mail collection and distribution, general filing, mail-outs, and word processing activities
- Coordinate and collate monthly/quarterly operating reports, as well as compile ad-hoc statistical, financial, and analytical reports within given deadlines
About you
To be considered for this position you will possess:
- Certificate IV in Business or equivalent (desirable) with demonstrated experience in providing effective secretarial and Administrative Support within a large or complex organisation or department
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office suite applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently and professionally liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail using appropriate checking processes to ensure information is recorded accurately
- Ability to work as an effective team member and assist others in achieving work goals
