About the Role
We are seeking a full-time staff member for our small office, located in Brendale. This is a multifunctional role and requires someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as an ability to problem solve.
The role will support the administration and reception functions of the office as well as form part of the Rosters Team, contributing to developing and amending the roster and ensuring all shifts are filled.
Once trained the role will also join the After-Hours team, taking part in a rotating roster of phone support outside of core business hours.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Answer incoming calls in a timely manner and ensure client and staff matters are actioned;
- Provide the full spectrum of administrative support to the head office staff;
- Data entry and reporting using Excel and internal systems;
- Provide advice and solutions for covering shifts;
- Communicate to staff and clients regarding the filling of shifts;
- Update rostered shifts including entering back-end coding and information; and
- Maintain a clean and tidy office environment and be the first point of contact for all visitors.
The right person for this role will have:
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative role or office environment;
- Experience in rostering or scheduling would be highly regarded, but the ability to problem solve is just as important as experience;
- Excellent time management and attention to detail;
- Skill and understanding in the full suite of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.);
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (a good telephone manner is a requirement); and
- A customer service attitude, professional work ethic and be self-motivated, ready to jump in and work independently.
