The full time role is based in Albany and provides administrative support to the Albany Chip Terminal team by assisting Management, office management, managing data and directing information requests.
You will work collaboratively with other team members across the business for national projects and programs.
This role involves a wide variety of activities, including but not limited to:
- Maintaining all Albany Chip Terminal administrative procedures.
- Ensuring all administrative duties are completed in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
- Liaise with Manager, Plant Supervisor and staff to ensure the smooth running of the Terminal.
- Review data to ensure accuracy of weighbridge information, sample data and shipping documentation.
- Maintaining safety related records to meet statutory requirements
- Liaising with Health and Safety to ensure effective coordination and support of Safety Management System.
- Liaising with service providers ensuring effective and appropriate outcomes for Albany Chip Terminal
- Processing data relating to ship loading, generate and finalise relevant documentation.
- Attending meetings and minute where required.
- Assisting in the development of and control of budgets and financial reporting.
- Ensure contractors are complying with legislative, code of practice, OH&S, ABP policies/procedures and FSC requirements.
- General office reception duties
We would love you to have:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Self-motivation to take ownership for work priorities and contributing to team objectives
- Strong relationship and communication skills to confidently interact with contractors, stakeholders, community members and our team
The following would be highly regarded but are not essential:
- Previous experience using accounts payable systems and other docketing or inventory management systems
- Current motor vehicle license
- Current First aid certificate
