A.P.S. Rewinds and Sales is a wholly Western Australian family-owned, award-winning, medium sized business operating since 1964, servicing multiple industries including mining, manufacturing, water treatment and agricultural sectors across Western Australia. We are an authorized Davey Premium Master Dealer, Onga Pump Shop and Puretec Filtration specialist.
Our business activities include rewinds/repairs and overhauls to:
- AC and DC electric motors from 75 Watts to 800kW
- Alternators/generators to 1250kVA
- All types of centrifugal and submersible pumps
- Gearboxes and eddy current drives
- Solenoid coils and rigid fields
- Modification to Australian standards and/or client/mining specification of new motors
- Supply of new electric motors, pumps, generators, and water filtration equipment
This position is based in Belmont and will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Exceptional customer service to a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Basic sales enquiries and pricing
- Ordering and liaison with suppliers
- Maintaining daily purchase register including follow up of outstanding orders
- Purchase order administration and reconciliation of supplier statements
- Job costing and drafting quotes for sales and repair jobs
- Report writing support for motor repairs
- Regular inventory review and stock management, including upkeep of neat and tidy merchandising
- Invoicing and customer statements
- Credit applications, credit references and approvals
- Reception duties coverage as secondary point of contact
- Completion of year 12 as a minimum and relevant certificate in business administration
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite - outlook, word, excel
- Experience in an accounting software (MYOB) will be highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service, written and verbal skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to work in a team environment and multi-task is essential
- Positive and can-do attitude
- Ability to follow safety procedures

We have a steady pipeline of incoming work which enables us to provide a stable environment to our team members. Our business hours are Monday to Friday generally between 8:00am to 5.00pm.
