Office Administrator
12 month Maternity Leave Position (with possible extension). Part-time in-office role (24-30 hours per week).

As an experienced Office Administrator you will provide key support to our team and clients.
What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with the Practice Manager to provide support to our clients, team and stakeholders
- Act as a primary point of contact and ensure the smooth day to day running of the office
- Liaise between our clients, NDIS, private Trustees, consultants and ensure that the required paperwork and consents are in order
- Assist with onboarding new team members and clients
- Manage meeting room bookings and assist with diary management
- Prep for internal meetings, provide minutes of meetings as well as co-ordination of post meeting actions
- Problem solve and stay calm under pressure
- Be part of a team and able to work autonomously
What you’ll need
- High School degree and additional Admin Officer qualifications or significant experience in a similar role.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
- Experience in a busy administration role
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Demonstrated history of strong work ethic and reliability
- Demonstrated high level of problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently (as required) and exercise initiative
- Commitment to providing a client focused service in a timely, consistent, coordinated and flexible manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Interest in the disability space
- A high level of confidentiality and integrity
Qualifications
Must have proven experience as an Administration Assistant/Legal Assistant/Medical Assistant in a busy office environment or medical/law practice is essential.
Desirable Criteria
Class C unrestricted driver's licence and access to own reliable vehicle.
Familiarity with the importance of time costing programs or case management software (such as LawMaster) or previous work experience within the private sector.
Experience with the NDIS and Quality System Management/audit process would be viewed very favourably, but not essential.
The successful candidate will be supported within the role by hands on training and ongoing peer support from our Practice Manager.
Salary
Commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus superannuation.
This is an office based position with some flexibility of work hours possible.
