About the Role
Brisbane Girls Grammar School welcomes applications for an Administrator to join our Development (Philanthropy) and Alumnae Relations departments.
The Administrator provides high-quality administrative support to both the School’s Development (Philanthropy) and the Alumnae Relations departments. The Administrator will possess strong data entry and analytical skills, provide exceptional customer service, and can work effectively independently and as part of a team. The Administrator will also exhibit a commitment to upholding confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
This role presents an opportunity for an individual with a passion for administration to contribute meaningfully to the education of young women.
The key accountabilities of the Administrator include:
- providing high-quality administrative support to two department managers (at a senior level)
- responding to general and Development and Alumnae related enquires
- providing a high level of customer service to external and internal stakeholders
- maintaining an accurate and current donor database while strictly adhering to data-entry requirements and privacy and confidentiality parameters
- preparing correspondence, including emails, generating letters of acknowledgment, receipts of donations, event invitations, and thank-you notes
- assisting with the planning and organising fundraising events, such as the annual Giving Day, Principal Events and other signature events by:
- coordinating event logistics
- booking venues
- arranging catering requirements
- preparing invitations and guest lists. - assisting with the planning and organising of reunions and other events as required
- undertaking other relevant administrative tasks as required.
You will also have:
- tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Office/Business Administration or Events Management
- minimum of three years’ experience working in a similar position
- demonstrated technical competency across the Microsoft Office Suite and advanced functionality in using a client relationship management (CRM) system
- strong writing, formatting and communication skills, with well-developed written expression and grammar and a keen eye for detail
- proven ability to liaise professionally with stakeholders in a skillful manner, understanding the importance of protocol and quality customer service
- highly professional presentation and manner, including a polished telephone manner
- the ability to acquire and maintain a Positive Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
