We are seeking a Contract Administrator who will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution and administration of contracts from inception to completion. Your role will involve negotiating contract terms, drafting agreements, and monitoring compliance with contractual obligations. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills and a deep understanding of construction contracts and project management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate, draft, and review construction contracts, ensuring terms align with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define contract specifications and scope of work.
- Manage contract documentation and maintain accurate records of all contractual agreements.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
- Resolve contract disputes and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager, or similar role in the construction industry.
- Solid understanding of construction contracts, contract law, and project management principles.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse complex information and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
