THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Executive Manager Residential Services, The Admissions & Customer Services Manager is a key member of the Leadership Team. The role will be responsible for maintaining excellent Customer Service throughout the sales, contract management and admission process for Residents and their families. It involves negotiation and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders also ensuring optimal occupancy ratios of our Residential Care Facilities at all times. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring service compliance and accreditation with relevant government legislation and standards.
Key responsibilities of this role:
- To be a key point of contact and assist with sales for all enquiries relating to new and potential Residents and their families for Residential Aged Care Services.
- Promote Warrina Homes’ accommodation options and services to key stakeholders within the local area.
- Build relationships with all potential Residential Care customers in a friendly, caring and empathetic way in all aspects of the business including following up of all admission enquiries related to admission process.
- To provide site tours of Warrina’s facilities and assist in the preparation of rooms for inspection as required.
- Maintaining and maximising occupancy levels within the Residential Care Homes including respite care in line with set targets as determined annually.
- Complete the contractual requirements and other administrative admission related matters in relation to new residents, financial and fee management, and contract signing.
- Working closely with the team to assist Residents in the transition to higher levels of care.
- Develop local networks (acute hospitals, external placement consultants, etc) in support of the sale of rooms in collaboration with the Leadership Team.
- Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders in all areas of the business.
- Maintain appropriate records and documentation relating to the delivery of services and provide high level administrative support to the Clinical Team as required.

For this appointment, Warrina Homes is seeking an established Aged Care sales and service professional with strong Customer Service focus.
Candidates with the following experiences and skillsets are encouraged to apply:
- Previous experience working in a similar role in Aged Care would be beneficial.
- A qualification in Front line management, Business or Administration would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the legislative requirements within Aged Care accommodation options.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Be results driven and able to self-motivate.
- Passionate about the provision of excellent Customer Service to elderly people and their families.
- Ability to work autonomously showing initiative and creativity.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to effectively build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Be a team player and have excellent time management skills.
- High level administrative and contract management skills.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Current South Australian Driver’s Licence
- Current Flu Vaccination
- COVID-19 Vaccinations including Booster is recommended.
- Current Aged Care Specific Police Clearance (or willing to obtain).
