We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Advanced Municipal Worker.
This position is responsible for performing a variety of routine tasks associated with providing the residents of the Derwent Valley with a comprehensive and well-maintained infrastructure including roads, bridges, stormwater, parks, reserves and buildings.
To be successful, you will have:
- Current Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence.
- Worked within the Road construction / Maintenance industry.
- Physically able to undertake a variety of strenuous labouring tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate small plant and equipment.
- Trade Qualification/Certification in the relevant fields.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and communicate effectively to resolve minor matters.
- Be accountable for decisions, behaviour, actions and deliverables.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety practices relevant to the role.
