Media Design and Marketing Sales Role
About us
SA Today publishes newspapers in South Australia and has recently purchased many new publications across the State and we need more people.
The Company is owned by a group of experienced independent publishers.
The position is part time working 22 hours per week based in Port Augusta.
Duties
Duties involve advertising sales, telemarketing, servicing the needs of local businesses, working closely with clients, exceeding customer expectation, maintaining and growing an extensive client base whilst seeking out new business opportunities.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Demonstrate an ability to work with and meet strict deadlines, develop sales proposals and undertake strategic marketing research and a keen eye for design.
- Create and develop media schedules based upon client requirements.
Have a genuine interest and passion for the media and the advertising industry. - Must be a good communicator and ability to build long term rapport with customers.
- Computer literate and have excellent verbal and written skills and phone manner.
- Skills in both face to face and telephone sales an advantage but not essential.
- Be keen to develop sales avenues and possess excellent follow-up ethic.
- Applicants should have a proven commitment to quality of work and client service and be confident negotiators and presenters.
This position requires someone with great time management skills and the ability to motivate themselves.
