The opportunity
Our Financial Advice team are here to deliver great outcomes for our members. This position plays a key role by ensuring the advice and information provided to members meets our regulatory obligations and is appropriate to them.
This is achieved through a robust monitoring and quality control program that includes reviewing client files and observing client meetings. The role extends to working with individual advisers to address outcomes and provide relevant coaching and training, documenting, and escalating common themes and supporting the development of the quality management framework.
In this 12 month max contract role, you will be recognised across the Advice team as a subject matter expert who takes a proactive approach to supporting and developing our Advisors. You will also work closely with Leaders and other stakeholders across the organisation and our external review firm. As such you will have strong communication skills and an adaptive, collaborative style.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in financial planning as an Adviser, Compliance, Risk Consultant, Paraplanner or similar and be able to demonstrate:
- Detailed understanding of relevant obligations and their application including the financial advice process, insurance, investments, and the provision of general advice
- An ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, and build positive relationships across the team and wider organisation
- Strong written skills including contributing to the preparation of reports detailing findings and insights
- Attention to detail
- Relevant professional tertiary qualifications
