About the role:

At Aurizon, we are committed to excellence in managing our operational facility assets across regional Queensland. We are seeking a Advisor Regional Facilities Asset Manager to join our team and play a strategic role in optimizing asset performance and maintenance outcomes.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to strategically manage a portfolio of operational facility assets while implementing asset management strategies, governance frameworks, and systems. You will liaise with stakeholders to provide guidance, focusing on continuous improvement, lifecycle management, and optimization of maintenance outcomes to support enterprise targets

  • Manage the operational performance of assets to improve business operations by delivering focused solutions while achieving budget targets and implementing effective cost control measures
  • Contribute to the optimisation of asset maintenance practices by leading and contributing to continuous improvement strategy and practices
  • Lead major change management activities in relevant business areas to assist the business in optimising asset management business solutions
  • Support the implementation of systems and process that control technical maintenance plans and enable the effective output of technical requirements to the business

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in an operational / facilities / asset management role.
  • Substantial level of corporate and/or industrial real estate facilities management experience. High level of technical understanding of facilities related plant and infrastructure
  • High level of analytical and problem solving skills in identifying and managing all the relevant issues that impact on effective risk and compliance management
  • High level of interpersonal, relationship and communication skills which influence outcomes to deliver superior business results
