Based in Dalby, you will provide support to, and supervision of staff for medium to high-risk Facilities Department procurement matters, ensuring compliance in accordance with relevant legislation, Local Laws, Code of Conduct and Values, Council policies and procedures.
Reporting to the Coordinator Business - Facilities, you will:
- be compiling, maintaining, and evaluating schedules for the cyclical renewal and management of facilities operational contracts;
- review and development of processes and procedures supporting effective facility contract administration and management of risks associated with the contracts;
- provide oversight of daily contract administration and Facilities contract management processes including the provision of solution-based recommendations to challenges as they arise in a time critical way; and
- be creating and maintaining monthly reporting relating to status and timelines for renewal of facilities assets tenders and contracts.
About yourself
The successful applicant will have:
- high level analytical, financial literacy and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate ideas for improvement;
- high level knowledge of supplier engagement and contract management as well as proven history of developing best practice processes to support both; and
- exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and completeness, excellent time management including the ability to manage changing priorities and workload and complete tasks in a busy work environment.
