Advisor, Quality and Compliance , Queensland Health

The Queensland Tissue Banks are looking for an Advisor, Quality and Compliance to join their team. The Queensland Tissue Banks are Queensland's sole facility for the provision of donated human tissues for therapeutic use. The Banks perform all stages of tissue procurement including donor identification, screening and consent; and all stages of tissue preparation including retrieval, processing, storage, despatch, and quality management. Banked tissues include bone, skin, eye and heart valves. Of the Australian states, Queensland has the largest Tissue Bank and provides therapeutic tissue products for both local and interstate use.

About the Role

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of external relationships and networks that enhance the capabilities of the QTB within the framework of Quality and leading practice.
• Assist and contribute to the process of regulatory compliance for new therapeutic products developed by the Tissue Banks.
• Assist in the development of guidelines, procedures or instructions for staff undertaking Quality and Compliance activities.
